- In a sequel, however, we could expect new stories in the house of the Formans.
“The 90’s Show” continues the story of the cult sitcom “The 70’s Show”. Season 1 started on January 19, 2023. There is no official renewal from Netflix yet, but season 1 ended with a big cliffhanger around Leia.

That ’90s Show Season 2: Launch
With the future of the Netflix series still uncertain, it’s difficult to predict when the second season of That ’90s Show” could arrive. However, we expect that the sequel will probably start in spring 2024 if the series is extended.
A sequel is not so unlikely. The series continues to have a strong following, and cameos from the old series stars are sure to keep many fans of the original series tuned in again. Two to three months after the start of the first season, the fate of the series could appear. If enough viewers have watched the series, the Formans and Co. will probably be given the green light.
That ’90s Show Season 2: Storyline
Throughout the first season, Leia, Eric and Donna’s daughter, befriends rebellious neighbor Gwen and begins a romantic relationship with Jackie and Kelso’s son, Jay. But in the end, Leia faces a big dilemma: she almost kissed Gwen’s brother Nate.
Leia and Donna return to Chicago and the girl has to leave her newfound friends again. What’s next for Jay and Nate? A second season could sort that out.
If the series is renewed, the plan is to have each season set during the students’ summer vacations.
That ’90s Show Season 2: Cast
In a second season, we’ll most likely see Leia Forman (Callie Haverda), Gwen Runck (Ashley Aufderheide), Nate Runck (Maxwell Acee Donovan), Jay Kelso (Mace Coronel), Nikki (Sam Morelos), and Ozzie (Reyn Doi). We’ll also see Red (Kurtwood Smith) and Kitty Forman (Debra Jo Rupp) again, after all, her house is the main location of the series.
Donna (Laura Prepon), Fez (Wilmer Valderrama), Eric (Topher Grace), Jackie (Mila Kunis) and Kelso (Ashton Kutcher) may also be re-cameos.
