As announced at Microsoft’s TGS conference, the Xbox version of Deathloop will finally arrive in Game Pass on September 20th, 2022. As a reminder, Bethesda’s game is more action-oriented than a Dishonored, and has fun showing us all the colors with its time-loop storyline. Simultaneously profound, funny and complex, the software developed by Arkane delivers varied situations. Deathloop benefits from a non-timed loop concept and encourages experimentation. Grounded
Grounded has been available in Early Access since 2020 and will be released in version 1.0 on September 27th, 2022. This launch will be accompanied by a new update that will bring some new features. As a reminder, Grounded is a survival game developed by Obsidian (Fallout: New Vegas, Pillars of Eternity) in which the player embodies a shrunken teenager. Therefore, anything that was once harmless, like an ant or a spider, now poses a major threat. Direct sequel to the very good A Plague Tale: Innocence, nominated for the Game Awards 2019 in the category “Best Storytelling‘, A Plague Tale: Requiem will be available to Game Pass subscribers on October 18, 2022. If discretion is still the keyword for this opus, Amicia has become a standout fighter. Weapons will have a more prominent place in Requiem without turning the title into an action game, rest assured.
Person 5 Royal
Earning an impressive 95/100 on Metacritic in its PlayStation 4 version, Persona 5 Royal celebrates its arrival on Microsoft computers by landing directly in Game Pass. Developed by Atlus, this JRPG is an updated and French-translated version of Persona 5, which Metacritic itself ranks as the best PS4 game of 2017, ahead of Undertale, What Remains of Edith Finch and Horizon Zero Dawn. Persona 5 Royal is the ultimate form of the adventures of the Joker and the Phantom Thieves. Since the software has been able to completely hermetically entice players into J-RPGs (and turn-based combat), we can only advise you to try it out if you have subscribed to the service when it arrives on October 21st, 2022.

One of the very first games introduced to demonstrate the capabilities of the Xbox Series X, Scorn is a first-person game with a terrifying atmosphere. The player is immersed in a hostile world full of puzzles to solve in order to advance. Focused on storytelling, Scorn has an artistic direction reminiscent of the work of HR Giger (Alien). and should have a playing time of around 8 hours.We have few details about this mysterious title that plays the dark card, but the developers of Ebb Software assure us that we will have news very soon. Scorn is an Xbox exclusive game coming to Game Pass on October 21, 2022.

Relatively discreet, despite being highlighted by both Xbox and PlayStation, Signalis is a horror game to check out. Developed by Rose-Engine, the software is set in a dystopian future and challenges us to escape from nightmarish creatures. Inspired by old-school survival horror, Signalis will make the player feel uneasy when scarce resources and multiple monsters lurk in the darkness. The developers name Stanley Kubrick, Hideaki Anno and David Lynch as inspirations. The game was part of the official voting for the 2021 Tribeca Festival and the 2018 Strasbourg Indie Game Contest. It will be released in Game Pass on October 27, 2022.

Since gamescom, the expectations surrounding Pentiment have increased. What looks like a small indie game is actually the new production of Josh Sawyer (screenwriter of Fallout New Vegas) for the account of Obsidian, under the bosom of Microsoft, in the category of the best original game of the German show. The plot is reminiscent of that of the film The Name of the Rose (directed by Jean-Jacques Annaud) with a murder committed in a 16th-century Benedictine abbey. The player must solve this crime by playing as Andreas Maler, a boarding school artist. Pentiment promises multiple possibilities as well as different storylines, all under a striking artistic direction, with a style that imitates 16th-century paintings. According to the lucky ones who got to play it at gamescom, this “little” Obsidian project could be one of the best games of the year. All you have to do is wait until November 15, 2022 to play it via Game Pass.
Warhammer 40k dark tide
After the Warhammer universe and its very beautiful Vermintide 1 & 2, it is Warhammer 40,000’s turn to invite fans of intense action. Warhammer 40,000: Darktide is a cooperative PvE FPS with hack’n slash elements. Firearms (or lasers) are the focus here, which doesn’t prevent chainswords from being part of the game as well. Fatshark ensures that its software’s gameplay offers effective synergy between classes. We want to take them at their word. With its gory beheadings, team fights against hordes of enemies, chainsaw carvings and skulls and legs capable of hacking facilities, there are definitely several reasons to wait for the arrival of this Xbox/PC exclusive.day one‘ in Game Pass, November 30, 2022.

Announced at Xbox Showcase 2022, High on Life was invented by Justin Rolland, creator of the Rick & Morty series. That explains his crazy universe based on aliens who want to turn living beings… into drugs. Developed by Squanch Games, the title takes the form of an FPS whose originality lies in the fact that the weapons are alive. “We already saw that in Oddworld: The Fury of the Stranger‘ you have the right to shout. And you would be right. Only here the weapons are real talking mills! In the presented videos, the completely absurd dialogues between the hero’s weapon and the NPCs were actually reminiscent of those of the Rick & Morty series. Announced only for Xbox and PC, High on Life will be coming to Game Pass on December 13, 2022.
Somerville
Planned for a wave”fourth quarter of 2022‘, Somerville is due to land soon. Presented at the Xbox Showcase 2021, it was convincing thanks to a sought-after artistic direction and a particularly orderly staging. Invented by Dino Patty, one of the creators of Playdead (Limbo), Somerville is a narrative adventure set in a sci-fi universe. The player is invited to find his family and then survive with them in a world invaded by an alien force. Written and directed by Chris Olsen, the software should mix adventure, platforming and puzzles. The Jumpship studio assures that it will not be an Inside in disguise and that the concept will go much further than what has been shown so far.
