The plot of One Punch-Man is as simple as it is absurd. And that is part of his success. Saitama is an atypical hero and quite inexpressive. He made himself based on training but when he managed to be the strongest man in the world, he had no more motivation. Feel frustrated at not finding an enemy of the same level, so the situations that are generated are really strange. Normally everything ends with a punch of the protagonist, saving the world again. Today we are going to review some of the funniest moments that have been seen in the anime series of One Punch-Man.
The Serie completely breaks stereotypes and carries the story irreverently. It even ridicules villains. It doesn't take 5 minutes to prove it when a half-human Kaijin, half crab in underwear and a boy with a double chin appears. What we still did not know in that episode is all that was to come. Gags, script twists and a lot of absurd humor
A colossal titan with few lights (Ep. 1, T1)
Precisely the first episode of One Punch-Man not only showed how ridiculous some villains can be, but the city suffers real dangers like the colossal man known as Marugori. Inevitably remember the giants of Attack on the Titans, but this scene far from instilling fear is quite absurd. A scientist named Hukegao experiments with his brother's body to create a superman. From his shoulder he directs him to destroy everything, even Saitama that suddenly appears on his other shoulder. When Hukegao orders that he kill the man on his shoulder, the giant kills his brother accidentally. His reaction is almost immediate, but it's too late. Good cover letter of the series.
Unable to kill a mosquito (Ep. 2, T1)
We are still meeting Saitama, but each scene tries to tell us something about the hero. In episode 2, there is a plague of mosquitoes in the city. Saitama is in his apartment and a single flying mosquito appears, so instinctively try to catch it. But fails loudly again and again. The strongest man in the world cannot against a miserable mosquito. The scene is recreated in this «fight», while the mosquito evades each and every one of Saitama's attacks. SPOILER: your efforts are useless.
Crotch punch (Ep. 4, T1)
In the city appears a superhero who wants to get Saitama's attention at all costs. Mainly because the Bald with Cloak ignores him. It is called Sonic Speed of Sound and boasts of being the fastest man. He thinks that Saitama will not be able to follow his movements, but surprisingly the protagonist anticipates all his attacks until the anime breaks this rhythm to put a gag that has become a meme. Saitama accidentally hit Sonic in the crotch
The Class C disciple (Ep 6, T1)
Genos has moved to Saitama's house, but he is very worried because the Association is dropping Class C heroes who are inactive. Saitama obviates the cyborg's concern and only attends to its category, so improvises a speech to deter him to accompany him to patrol. The best thing about this scene is that it makes viewers participate in the protagonist's thoughts. Everything is being invented and finally seems to have convinced Genos, but in reality Saitama shows that he does not know how to help or instruct his disciple. A scene that is better seen than told. It has no waste!
OK (Ep. 11, T1)
Possibly the best fight of season 1, but he was not exempt from his absurd moment either. At last there was a real threat when an alien named Boros, leader of the Dark Matters Thieves. He is just as bored as Saitama so he travels thousands and thousands of kilometers to face him. Saitama punches him, but fails to kill him. Only the armor breaks, which contains its true power. After a classic villain speech that pretended to be epic, Saitama's reaction is as basic as dumb: OK! Between skepticism and expectation, Saitama does not flinch at the transformation of Boros.
