As every week, the world of independent games is full of varied and diverse surprises. But you still have to find your way around, as there are apps available on PC, PlayStation, Xbox and Nintendo Switch. To help you see more clearly, here are the indies coming out over the next seven days. On the agenda: action, management and the platform!

No doubt you know Fall Guys. This lush, colorful battle royale has been entertaining the gallery for two years on PC and consoles and will be arriving on Switch and Xbox very soon. At the same time become Mediatonic developers Turn the game into free-to-play. Basically, you don’t have to pay to enjoy it (although there are optional purchases through an in-game store). And to top it off, Fall Guys is cross-platform and cross-game, meaning you can play with PC, Xbox and PlayStation players, but also track your progress from one console to another. In short, even more good reasons to have fun. As a reminder, the Mediatonic software places sixty players in a TV show where you have to chain quizzes like Total Wipeout (or Takeshi’s Castle) to be the last survivor. A dose of good humor.

Anvil Saga (Early Access)
With his good mood and colorful pixel art The Anvil Saga looks like really nice management software ! The game immerses us in the Hundred Years’ War while many challenges await the world. On your side you need to turn a small blacksmith shop into a successful business. “But the path that will lead you to posterity will be fraught with pitfalls,” announces the project’s Steam page. Indeed, it will be necessary to manage relationships with a whole range of characters (bandits, lords, priests, French or British soldiers). Anvil Saga seems to consist of two parts: on the one hand the improvement and expansion of the forge and on the other hand the relationship: accepting a request from a faction could have consequences. And don’t forget to upgrade your own team!

In a whole different genre, here come magoand colorful platformer that smells good of the 90s and the MegaDrive. In this title developed by Dream Potion Games you play as a magician “who must run, jump and, with his trusty wand, traverse a great kingdom where the unthinkable becomes reality” we can read on Steam. Everything looks classy, but neat enough to be of notable interest: the levels are advertised as having variety (“the prairie-colored teapot, a giant tree guarded by a wild centipede, with the ancient ruins of a mysterious civilization rising up a huge bird rests on his back”), both in terms of graphics and gameplay, with many enemies, bosses and even a mecha robot to help you! In short, a hell of an adventure is obviously on the horizon. Put on your boots, take your wand!

ElecHead
Want a little no-fuss puzzle game? Well, here’s ElecHead for Nintendo Switch, a few months after its release on PC. In this simple artistic direction, you play as a robot whose mission is bring light into the world. “It electrifies and activates everything it touches, walls, floors, platforms, switches,” we can learn from the project’s Nintendo page. “He can also detach and toss his head to reach distant places, but be careful: if his head doesn’t return to his shoulders after ten seconds, he shuts down.” A simple concept, but one that has become well thought out and increasingly complex seems to lead to puzzles. Note that ElecHead shows a duration between “2 and 3 hours”. Short and memorable?
