This is Nintendo’s surprise announcement: without warning, the ninth generation of Pokémon was announced during a Pokémon gift. New region, new features… You should remember that!
We were therefore able to discover Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, the 9th generation Pokémon. Well yes. What brings a lot of new.
A new region
Of course, a new Pokemon is an opportunity to discover a whole new region. If we don’t know much at the moment, we do know that it’s inspired by Europe and Portugal. As then, Kalos was inspired by France. So we have a very Mediterranean artistic orientation. The world will be completely open this time.
Three new starters
The French names for the starter Pokémon have been revealed and that’s where we find them
- Poussacha (species of plant),
- Chochodile (fire type),
- Headdress (water type).
No need to tell you who is who in the picture above, the color code is clear. A note for you, the Grass-type Pokémon is…green!
An open world for Pokémon
Depending on the version of the game two protagonists are available. Nothing is known other than the antagonists or even members of the league. It’s not a lot of information, but at least we know it’s going to be a true open world this time. In this way, the various cities and areas to be discovered are integrated without detours and other loading times. The life is wonderful, is not it?
These new Pokémon games must be available between Beginning of October and end of November 2022.
