The God of War series is said to be in the works on Amazon soon, although it’s not yet known who will be in the cast.
The fans, for their part, are already looking for their Kratos and against all odds, a good portion of them don’t want Christopher Judge. Nonetheless renowned actor and iconic interpreter of Kratos in God of War (2018) and God of War Ragnarok. Judge also spoke.
Fans want a wrestler in the God of War series
Confirmed by Sony at the same time as the Horizon Zero Dawn series and the Gran Turismo film, the God of War series shouldn’t be long in coming and everyone is speculating about the casting. Fans debate and search for the perfect Kratos among like-minded artists. Many also agree that WWE Superstar Triple H would be best suited to portray the god of war on the small screen. The bard, the physique and the square face were obviously enough to suggest that Triple H would be the perfect Kratos.
Kratos wants to be Kratos
Other fans are surprised to note that no one thinks about the main prospect, who has embodied Kratos in recent games since 2018. God of War, Christopher Richter. The professional actor, though, remember the man is best known for portraying the Goa’uld Teal’c on the show stargate for many years. The latter also responded with an I-sign to a tweet from a fan who stated that there was no better actor to play Kratos than Judge.
But not everyone has the same opinion here and some of the reasons given are particularly sad to read. Some point out that the actor is getting on in years or that his shoulders aren’t broad enough (literally) to portray the god of war. Unfortunately, others say that the actor’s skin color is incompatible with the role. For them, the god of war is primarily white.
A remark that makes you chuckle knowing the origin of Kratos’ skin color. Anyway, Christopher Judge seems to be at the start. Only time will tell if his foot call will be seen by the producers of the future series or not.
