PQube, Studio Kiku and Innovina Interactive announced a new indie game title Plane effect It is expected to be released on PC, Switch, PS5 and Xbox Series X|S in 2021.
This peculiar story happened to a man named Solo, who was named because he was lonely in this turbulent world, and he tried to return home to meet his family on the last day of work.
However, as his journey from the office to home became more and more strange: he seemed unable to recall the actual situation of his family, and the world around him began to be distorted and disfigured. Take a look at the disturbing contemplative trailer below.
The game itself looks like it’s scratching the game, placing you in a disoriented position and setting you to leave the Escher-style level.
The press release said: “During solo, Solow transcended the profound and profound aesthetic world of the plane effect, played with reality, distorted the balance of time and space, and struggled with adversity.”
“Along the dangerous path Solo has traveled, you will face the challenge of a series of events that are difficult to solve, stay in touch with intangible assets and use logic to overcome the increasingly illogical dystopian challenges around you.”
It looks really interesting, reminiscent of the atmosphere of Playdead titles (such as Inside and Limbo).
“Plane effect” will appear on PC, Switch, PS5 and Xbox Series X|S in 2021. You can view its Steam page in the link.
