Sony has lifted the veil on free PS Plus Extra and Premium games in May 2023. Another big month for subscribers, despite thirty departures?
PlayStation Plus growth is picking up speed again. The new formulas had turned subscribers off by the millions, but Sony was able to persuade them to come back. The Japanese publisher does not skimp on the means to make its offerings unique. Every month the PS Plus Extra and Premium catalog is expanded with new productions of various calibers. From major licenses from Bethesda, Ubisoft or even PlayStation to popular indie games, subscribers have been spoiled for almost a year. Will it continue its momentum with the May 2023 Playstation Plus Extra and Premium games?
The May 2023 PS Plus Extra games
May’s PS Plus Extra and Premium games revealed. Almost a year after its launch, the new formula seems to have finally won. It has to be said that they are not short of assets to put forward. The first provides access to a varied catalog of games that grows every month and sometimes includes releases day one. The second offers all these benefits in addition to offering classic and retro productions. The month of May was particularly expected at the turn of the century, as it is characterized by a new beginning. The PlayStation Plus Collection has come to an end and this month more than 32 games from PS Plus Extra are coming. We then expected more or at least very qualitative additives to administer the pill. We knew fascinating humanity would be available from the start, but obviously they won’t be alone.
On the menu this month is a big PS5 exclusive, a bit of Bethesda, Square Enix, and independent productions. All games in the list below are available from May 16th around 11 p.m. Without further ado, here are the PS Plus Extra games for April 2023:

The PS Plus premium games of May 2023
What about PS Plus Premium subscribers? As usual, retro games with far more timid additions can be counted on one hand. We can again count on the siphon filter license to raise the level. Still no sign of Dino Crisis, but the game has been spotted a few times so all hope isn’t lost just yet.
