When it was announced, the Silent Hill 2 remake was as intriguing as it was frightening. Overall, the results were mixed. On the one hand, we had the early fans who were happy to get another opportunity to play this iconic gem. On the other side there were the skeptics. Those who think that the second part does not need a complete revision. In all cases the curiosity of the majority was aroused. But when can we form a final opinion on this? Well, of course, it’s coming soon.
Silent Hill 2 Remake is reaching its home stretch
After the release of the first trailer, the Bloober Team remake returned to the shadows. For a while he gave no sign of life. On the other hand, the studio behind the game really wanted to reassure players about the outcome. We understand the concerns as we are still talking about Silent Hill 2, a true monument to the medium. Finally, the title was shown at the last State of Play, with a trailer focused on combat. And there were questions.
Specifically, this failed to calm some people’s fears. However, you know what they say: it’s better to form your own opinion. For this we will have to wait to find out more about the release date, which has not yet been determined. But maybe that’s changing. During an interview with Famitsu, Motoi Okamoto, producer at Konami who is overseeing the Silent Hill remake, made an interesting statement. The game has reached the final stages of its development. He was literally starting his home stretch. However, he couldn’t reveal more.
We are in the final phase of development. Unfortunately I can’t tell you much at the moment. As a game, you can imagine that Silent Hill 2 is the same that everyone thinks about and it is easy to play in our modern times and also fun with beautiful graphics.
As already mentioned, we are very careful about even the smallest changes. We stay true to the original title. However, we are making adjustments to some points that require modernization.
