Respawn Entertainment announced the latest Apex Legend The Dark Depths event will start on January 11 and will last until February 1.
Dark Depths will launch a new arena map called Habitat, as well as themed decorations that turn your legend into deep-sea horror. You can also enjoy a weekly Flash event.
Using the new habitat map, you will play on one of the smallest islands in the New Antilian Islands. Known as Habitat 4, after the early IMC research team discovered that a large number of local Leviathans were attracted to the island, it became known as the “breeding place of Leviathan”.
Habitat 4 is full of terrain that has been eroded and changed over time, with a large waterfall, and caves and nests on the higher ground on both sides of the island. The new map allows slides and quick escapes, giving you the opportunity to quickly support your team in the event of a split or under-population.
Flash events will be held once a week, in these events, you will complete challenges to earn a new set of unique prizes and badges. The main prizes include Apex packages, Holosprays, skins, etc.
In addition, there are themed cosmetics with legendary skins such as Xiaozhi, Horizon, Lifeline, and Fuse.
You can also use 400 Apex coins to receive the limited-time Dark Abyss Pack, and unlock cosmetics, weapon accessories, trackers, etc. This pack is guaranteed to unlock a non-repetitive Dark Abyss theme event item, and it can also be made of handmade metal.
