Apex Legenda players will soon be able to participate in the new limited-time collection event Genesis.
Starting on June 29th and lasting until July 13th, Apex Legend The Genesis Collection will take you back to the original map of Kings Canyon (including Skeleton Town) and the edge of the world.
The original Season 0 Kings Canyon and Season 3 World’s Edge will return in a limited time, replacing the normal Trios and Duos queues, rotating for one hour. With the help of these maps, you can enjoy the Kings Canyon in Skeleton Town, get loot on the train traveling through the capital in the era before the harvester landed on the edge of the world, and conduct multi-team duels in the fuel warehouse.
Skeleton Town will also be made into an arena map during the event through map rotation in one-hour increments. You can surround the tower with Valkyrie and Pathfinder, or trap the ground floor with Caustic and Wattson.
The Genesis Collection event brought a reward track with new earnable cosmetics, including the legendary Charge Rifle and EVA-8 weapon skins. In addition, you can earn 1,600 points every day, and the challenges will be updated daily throughout the event. If completed during the event, there are four badges for extended challenges.
Genesis also launched a new set of 24 limited-time cosmetics, available through direct purchase and the Genesis Event Apex package. If you collect all 24 event items, you will unlock the Revenant Heirloom Set.
As the event progresses, the legendary balance of Octane, Revenant, Lifeline, Bloodhound and Wattson is updated.
You can look forward to Revenant’s streamlined collision box; lifeline increased hit box; bloodhound’s eye scan time reduced by 1 second; Wattson’s Nessies have been greatly improved.
Some weapon balance updates also apply to updates that affect the Spitfire, 30-30 Repeater, and Longbow.
You can find updated patch notes and more information about Genesis Collection Event through the developer blog post.
