Ascent has done quite well for the developer Neon Giant and its publisher Curve Digital.
According to the curve number, rise It generated $5 million when it went on sale at the first weekend. It also secured the first place on the Steam global leaderboard.
The game was released on July 29 and is available for PC, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S. There are also more than 1,700 YouTube and Twitch channels playing the game, generating more than 10 million views.
Curve Digital also stated that the game is the largest opening weekend of all games released in its history.
“The Ascent is Curve’s first game, and our new team worked closely with the developer and our platform partners to achieve significant results in this game,” said John Clark, CEO of Curve Digital.
“This success is the result of the real teamwork of the entire company. The arrival of new leadership and talents truly reflects our new developer and player-centric approach in everything we do.”
“We are overwhelmed by the positive response from the community and all players,” Neon Giant said. “As a small team of 12 people, great efforts were made to create the game. We can’t express our gratitude to everyone who has played the game and gave us feedback.”
