According to the rumors, a new video game based on the film adaptation with Robert Pattinson in the lead role is in the works, which focuses on the villain The Penguin.
These rumors originated in an article on the film industry-focused website Puck, from where they also made it to the GamingLeaksAndRumours subreddit. The speculation is that Warner Bros. is working on the new title and it is still unclear whether it will be based on the movie “The Batman” or the upcoming HBO spin-off series “The Penguin.”

His short and to the point answer to these speculations: “Unfortunately, there is no truth to it.” So as a Batman fan, you don’t need to start gasping for breath, even if Gunn’s statement at least implies that he would actually like to see such a video game. But it is clearly not in the works.
