MHW: Iceborne: New raid boss completely changes weapons and armor
Safi'jiiva – more of a raid than a hunt
Safi'jiiva is the full-blown form of Xeno'jiiva, the final boss from the main game. It is a huge red dragon with particularly hard scales that are very difficult to penetrate. You don't fight Safi'jiiva like four of the monsters in the game, but in a special quest on which up to 16 players can participate – just like Kulve Taroth.
How to take part in the quest: To find a lobby full of like-minded players who also want to fight Safi'jiiva, you simply have to specify Safi'jiiva as your desired opponent in matchmaking. The siege can also only be started from the meeting place and not from the quest board.
The most powerful weapons as a reward
The further you drive Safi'jiiva back in battle, the better and more numerous your rewards will be. And it's worth it. In addition to the particularly useful Safi'jiiva armor set, you can unlock a whole range of Safi weapons, sometimes too the best in the whole game belong because you can assign them certain skills yourself.
The only disadvantage: you do not forge them directly, but rely on luck. In contrast to Kulve, you can choose certain types of weapons after each victory, so you will not only receive weapons that your hunter does not use at all.
The players of the console version have already compiled a list of the items you should work towards. If you don't find time for the siege, you won't miss anything. Because the event will come back periodically.
Capcom has already announced in the past how it will continue with Monster Hunter World: Iceborne. The next two monsters will follow in April. The update in May also appears simultaneously for PC and console.
