I have proof and zero doubts: the gala of the The Game Awards 2022 It has been one of the best I can remember. At iGamesNews you can find everything you need to know about the gala: winners, announcements, news dedicated to the most outstanding games, etc. BUT… it has not only been incredible because of the awards and the announcements, but also because of the memes.
I am not exaggerating when I say that I ended up crying with laughter. not just because Christopher Judge (Kratos from God of War) doesn’t know when to stop talking, but because a random kid snuck in next to himself Hidetaka Miyazaki, who was collecting the Elden Ring GOTY award, to steal ALL the limelight. And the memes…
The Game Awards 2022: Bill Clinton Guy, Christopher Judge y más
Christopher Judge, Kratos in God of War Ragnarök, spent 8 MINUTES talking NON-STOP to thank the Best Performance award. This fact is already worthy of a meme by itself… But it is that it had the very same Al Pacino waiting by his side to finish! She talked so much that they had to put music to it in an attempt to liven up the speech or to kick him out.

And of course, those of us who were watching the The Game Awards 2022 we were delighted to listen to Judge… at least for the first few minutes. After minute 4 or 5, things were more like this:

The gala progressed with many presentations, awards and some shady Crash Bandicoot moment. Nothing too worrying. Oh yeah! A rock-and-roll musician, playing as if his life depended on it. Audiovisual magic.
Dude, last night, watching the game awards with chat was such a memorable experience, seeing God of War & Elden Ring just nail it, a few great games announced, the energy from the flute guy, and the Bill Clinton hallucination. And then playing SKY with 4000 people.. WHAT A NIGHT pic.twitter.com/0cevcghPh8

The highlight came right at the end, when Hidetaka Miyazaki took the stage to collect the award. GOTY 2022 para Elden Ring. A random guy snuck in and commented like he was part of the team making a reference to Bill Clinton. meme machine gun:

There are no words to describe how random and wonderful the intervention of the Bill Clinton Guy, a blow of confusion to close a gala that set the bar very, very high for the events to come. And what 2023 awaits us!
