A few weeks ago, the gamescom trailer for Atomic Heart said that the first-person shooter would be released later this year. Now a reversal may follow directly, because the release is apparently not as set in stone as it seemed.
The reason for this is a press release from Focus Home Interactive. In this, Focus announces on the one hand that it will be the publisher for Atomic Heart from now on and on the other hand also talks about the release of the shooter hope. The wording at least allows the speculation that the first-person shooter, which is reminiscent of Bioshock, will probably be shifting something.

Atomic Heart looks like a perfect Bioshock replacement for 2022 in the brand new trailer
Atomic Heart: Release im Winter 2022
Atomic Heart was actually supposed to be released in the 4th quarter of 2022 – that’s what it said until recently Shooter’s Steam page. In the meantime, however, there is only talk of This Winter
. A phrase that Focus Home also uses in its press release:
Originally slated for 2022, the fast-paced and explosive action-RPG is slated for release this winter.

What does that mean in detail? In the industry, winter usually means the time between December and March – in this case December 2022 and March 2023. However, the Focus message again says that Atomic Heart was originally supposed to appear in 2022. That would rule out December as a release month and mean a postponement.
if reason for the postponement the publisher says that the development team wants to deliver the highest possible quality and simply needs a little more time for this.
What is Atomic Heart game?
Since 2017 and the announcement, Atomic Heart has been the focus of attention again and again, because the game from Russia is reminiscent of a new Bioshock with its mixture of shooting and supernatural abilities. So far, the title is definitely convincing visually and lures with a sometimes very wacky opponent design.
But what exactly is going on in Atomic Heart and where skepticism is still appropriate is revealed by Vali in his detailed preview:
