It is undeniable that one of the most popular sagas within the horror genre is Silent Hillabout which we already knew that the remake of Silent Hill 2 is underway. This new version has been present in the new State of Play that has been broadcast in order to take a look at what it will look like thanks to its new trailer.
This preview has served to find out its release date, so it is already confirmed that it will go on sale on PS5 and PC next October 8th. In addition, it will be distributed with a special edition that will include a digital art book, its soundtrack, the Pyramid Head mask for James and also the possibility of playing 48 hours before the rest of the world.
Along with this new advance, it has come to light an extensive gameplay of 13 minutes which shows some of the new features that will be present in this remake that will not be limited only to having improved graphics to make it more chilling than ever. To do this, it will use ray-tracing technology and a new over-the-shoulder perspective to make the experience more immersive and close.
What will remain is his argument. The plot tells us that James, the protagonist, has received a letter from her late wife, which will lead him to go to her town where he shared great moments with her in the hope of seeing her once again. Of course, although this section remains intact, there will be totally new scenarios to visit and places that were previously inaccessible.
For the rest, Bloober Team, the company in charge of developing this remake, has modernized combat system. The classic weapons will remain, but the combat has been modified to make it more challenging and stressful.
