The Computer Entertainment Rating Organization (CERO) just announced in Japan (in a press release clearly translated automatically into English) the resumption of its activity. The latter will take place, as planned, on May 7. The video games classification organization in the Japanese archipelago apologizes for the "anxiety and burden" that this interruption may have represented for its members.
CERO also indicates that its new temporary opening hours will be from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. to allow its staff to avoid peak hours in transport. The organization also specifies that it is currently working on the establishment of working (a system already used by other classification bodies such as the ESRB or the PEGI).
At the time these lines are written, the consequences of this one-month closure on games released in Japan are not yet known.
