Which is the most beautiful phone of all time? This question is currently being hotly debated in the Android subreddit. Surprisingly, the three devices with the most upvotes are all more than 10 years old.
However, there are also several mobile phones that have received fewer Internet points but are mentioned again and again.
The most beautiful phone: HTC One M7
The HTC One M7 would probably still be an eye-catcher even today.
The Android community has chosen the HTC One M7 as the most beautiful mobile phone of all time. It was released in March 2013 and is therefore more than 11 years old today. At that time, it had to compete with mobile phones such as the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 and the iPhone 5s.

The HTC One M7 had several featuresthat made it special. In a sea of plastic Android phones, the HTC One M7 offered a unibody made of aluminum. So if you wanted to buy a high-quality phone, you no longer had to buy an iPhone.
- The 4.7-inch display is a bit small by today’s standards, but quite large for that time.
- Devices with a display size of around 5.5 inches or more were considered “phablets” – a mix of tablet and cell phone.
- There were still very thick bezels around the screen, but they were used excellently.
- The HTC One M7 had front-facing speakers at the top and bottom – a feature we rarely see today due to the thin bezels of the screen.
The back also has a design that would stand out today. The back of the phone is also made of aluminum and is curved outwards. The four-megapixel camera does not protrude and is recessed flat into the casing.
It’s not surprising that the Android community voted this phone the most beautiful of all time.

Silver and Bronze: Google Nexus 4 and Motorla Razr V3
In second place is the Google Nexus 4The phone was released in October 2012 and was developed in collaboration with LG Electronics. The Nexus phones are the forerunners of today’s Pixel smartphones and were particularly popular due to their excellent price-performance ratio.
The Nexus 4 was also visually outstanding. The front was covered by a large piece of glass without physical buttons, which was not a given at the time. The big highlight, however, was the back of the phone. LG and Google gave it a subtle glitter effect.
In third place is a mobile phonethat wasn’t even smart until now: the Motorola Razr V3. The legendary clamshell phone was released in October 2004 and attracted attention primarily because of its striking design.
It was extremely thin for a clamshell phone. When folded, it even had a small display on the outside – a feature that flip smartphones still have today. When opened, the iconic metallic keypad is revealed.
Honorable Mentions
In addition to these three phones, some devices were also mentioned repeatedly by individual users. One of them is the Essential Phone PH-1. It attracted a lot of attention with its bezel-less design and minimalist back when it was announced in March 2017.
The thread also repeatedly mentions Nokia Lumia phones. These were mostly colorful smartphones with the Windows Phone operating system. The design of the phones was colorful and angular, which matched the tiled look of Windows Phone.
