In 1793 you are on a remote private island owned by a secret society that you and your mother belong to. But this time you are alone, because your mother disappeared under mysterious circumstances on this very island. In the role of Louis de Richet, she accepts an invitation from Lord Mortimer himself – the owner of the island and a member of the secret society.
You mingle with the illustrious group, which includes high-ranking historical figures such as Napoleon and George Washington, and try to solve the disappearance of your mother. The weapons of your choice are manipulation and skillful outplaying of the guests, all of whom always have their own motives that you want to uncover.

The Council – Trailer introduces mystery adventure starring Napoleon and George Washington
The adventure gameplay is based on a role-playing core that has a major impact on your skills both in dialogue and in exploring the island. At the beginning you choose one of three classes, consisting of diplomat, occultist and detective, which have different advantages and disadvantages.
The diplomat is particularly articulate, so he sees through the weaknesses of his interlocutors and makes it easier to make them dance to his tune. A master of deception, the occultist does not mind using others to his advantage. His enormous understanding of science and art opens up dialogue options for him that remain closed to others. If you choose the detective, your keen eye will recognize small details that the untrained observer would otherwise not notice. Closed doors are no obstacle for him and when push comes to shove, you can count on him.
At the end of each chapter, you’ll earn points for your achievements, which you can use to unlock more skills. Depending on your choice of skills, new paths open up to you while others remain closed to you. The skills you choose and the choices you make have tangible consequences and have a huge impact on the story and its outcome. Thus, the replay value is enormous, since depending on the selected class, available skills and decisions made, you can take completely new paths that were impossible for you in the last round.
