Shortly after the start of the year, Ubisoft gave the go-ahead for the next episode in the long-running racing game The Crew 2. Here we tell you what to expect.
With “The Contractor” you now get new content from Ubisoft in the racing game The Crew 2 in Season 4 Episode 2. The corresponding update for the open-world racer is now available on Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PS5, PS4, Stadia and PC.
What do you expect specifically? This time you can embark on a journey through America’s most iconic cities to complete missions for Marco’s Cab, Diamond Limousine and Rocket Co. Some of the wildest places in the States also await you. The missions require you to make deliveries for two new companies, Intrepid Outdoor, which specializes in supplying camping gear, and US Wildlife Watchers, a charity.
There is also a new version of the optional 50-level reward system: the Motor Pass. There are both free and paid premium rewards including new vehicles. The latter category includes the Koenigsegg Gemera Outclassed Edition (Hypercar), the Land Rover Defender V8 Works Intrepid Outdoors (Rally Raid), the Hummer H1 Alpha US Wildlife Watchers (Rally Raid) and a new creation from the Ubisoft Ivory Tower team: the Hunter 51 (Rally Raid).
In addition to the Motor Pass, there are still free monthly vehicle deliveries. The Chevrolet Silverado Intrepid Outdoors (Rally Raid) and the Ariel Atom (Street Race) are now available. More new vehicles will be added throughout the season, as well as vanity items such as roof ornaments, avatar outfits, smoke variants, tire variants, underbody lights, and window tints.
