The Crew 2: Racer is getting new ice tracks soon

Crew, Ice, racer, tracks

Over the weekend, Ubisoft also unveiled the next episode for long-running racer The Crew 2. We’ll tell you what to expect!

In the new week, specifically on September 14th, Episode 2 of the sixth season of The Crew 2 will be released on the Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PS5, PS4 and PC platforms. According to Ubisoft, this will be called “Dominion Frozen”.

After teaming up with Drifting World Champion Chris Forsberg in the previous episode, Dominion Frozen will continue to test you. This challenge adds a new type of track never seen before in the series: Ice Racing.

The five playgrounds introduced to the open world with Season 6 will be covered in ice during 9 special brand new events available throughout the episode. So you must be willing to forget everything you’ve learned as you embark on Episode 2. Between icicles and snow cannons, it’s harder than ever to steer the vehicle over this new type of track.

In addition, Season 6 Episode 2 offers a brand new engine pass with 50 ranks full of free and premium rewards including vehicles such as Saleen S7 Twin-Turbo Glacier Edition (Hypercar), Mazda RX-3 Supercharged Edition (Street race), Dodge SRT Viper GTS Lightning Edition (Street race) or prestige items, outfits, currency packs (crew credits and bucks) and more. There are 19 tiers of free rewards in total, including Creators DeLorean DMC-12 Outadrift (Drift) for Episode 2.

Rounding out the DLC is new customization options with 48 new vanity items including animated strobe lights, as well as avatar outfits, smoke, tires, underlights, window tints and more. Of course, you can expect more vehicle additions as the episode progresses, such as the Lamborghini Reventón (Hypercar) coming out on October 19th.
