Ubisoft keeps its open-world racer The Crew 2 going. The fifth season is now starting with a first episode and free new content.
The first episode of The Crew 2 – Season 5 is now available for all players of the long-running racing game. This is called “American Legends” and can be obtained on Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PS5, PS4, Stadia, PC, Stadia and Amazon Luna alike.
Thanks to the new episode, you can now enter the archive after roaming America and completing missions for different companies. There you will find souvenirs, diaries and items of characters from the past. All of these items are clues that can lead you to treasures across America. You choose a story that you want to discover and then get started. Travel across the country to find clues and collect some of America’s most iconic vehicles. Each week two new stories will be available for free, for example the Porsche 550 Spyder can be discovered on March 16th.
“American Legends” is accompanied by a new engine pass. This offers 50 levels of exclusive rewards, both free and paid in the premium version. These include vehicles such as: Chevrolet Corvette C7 ZR1 2019 (Hypercar), Dodge Challenger SRT Demon Awaken Edition (Street Race), Ford Mustang Fastback Stunt Edition (Street Race), as well as prestige items, outfits, currency packs (crew credits and bucks), and even more.

The latest update of Ubisoft’s open-world motorsports game is now available on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Stadia, and Windows PC on the Ubisoft Store and Epic Games Store. Ubisoft also announced that support for The Crew 2 will be extended for another year. After Season 5, Year 5 will start and add three new Seasons with new content to the game.
