The survival shooter The Cycle: Frontier is currently very popular. Now the creators have announced that the ongoing closed beta will be extended.
A lot has happened since The Cycle: Frontier was originally announced. The game mechanics have been completely changed over to a survival shooter – and that seems to inspire the community. At least on Twitch, the title is currently very popular.
After summit1g presented the game there, The Cycle: Frontier temporarily took second place in the trend games category on Twitch with over 1.1 million hours of watch time in the middle of the week; only Fortnite was even more successful. The previous The Cycle, based on the old model, was also trumped in just two weeks.
In order to further improve the fun of the game and align it with the will of the community, the developers have now announced that the ongoing closed beta will be extended. This should there fore last a week longer and will now run until November 8, 2021. Registrations for this closed beta test phase are still over for those interested Steam
There are also some statistics on the previous beta process: Over 1.9 million AI opponents have been defeated, but at the same time 74,000 prospectors have come to an end. Almost 250,000 players were defeated in PvP, but people also died under other circumstances: Over 2,000 prospectors perished due to the planetary circumstances of Fortuna III.
