The first season of the free-to-play shooter The Cycle: Frontier starts today. This is what you can expect in the coming weeks.
A few weeks after the release of The Cycle: Frontier on June 8th, developer Yager is starting the first season of the free-to-play title today. In any case, it is important for players to know that you can take your previous progress with you into the season.
Season 1 is finally introduced with the current patch 1.2.0. After the update, the Battlepass called Fortuna Pass will be introduced, which brings you a number of rewards as you progress in the game. Among other things, Aurum and salvage tokens await you. In addition, the paid pass offers new prospector skins, weapon skins, emotes, weapon charms, XP boosters and more.
Also starting one day after the start of the season is Twitch Drops, where viewers can win in-game gear and vanity items for watching their favorite streamer The Cycle: Frontier. The update will also make some changes to the damage of certain weapons. You can also expect one or the other bug fix.
In The Cycle: Frontier you explore the sci-fi world Fortuna III and scour its different biomes for valuable treasures. Alone or with up to two friends, you drop onto the map, collect resources, fight creatures and compete in duels with other enemy prospectors. The Cycle: Frontier combines PvE, PvP and co-op gameplay elements.
