To everyone’s surprise, The Day Before page reappeared on Steam. Isn’t the scam finally over? You’ll see, it’s quite unusual.
Ahh, the day before. How can we not remember this monumental fraud? Little reminder: This is a game that was presented as a survival MMO with a mix of The Last of Us and The Division. On paper, why not, and that has piqued the curiosity of many people. The problem is that over time the players understood that something was wrong. Between the postponements and the notification to absent subscribers, everyone was scared. When it finally released, the disaster was confirmed and the title was completely removed from the Steam store. However, its ugly face recently appeared on Valve’s platform, causing misunderstandings within the community. What’s up ?
The Day Before is back on Steam? Not really
We haven’t told you the full story of The Day Before because that would take a long time. Just keep in mind that it was one of the biggest scams in the video game sector in recent years. So we obviously didn’t shed any tears when it was kicked off Steam. As a bonus, those who purchased it were entitled to a refund. END ? Well, not quite. In fact, several people noticed that his page had returned to the store. But don’t be fooled.
For good reason, it wasn’t really about The Day Before. However, everything was there: the description, the trailer, the release date, nothing was missing. A good way to remember the painful memory of this terrible experience. The only notable difference was the price, which was now around 5 dollars. But that was, at least according to the research done, just an excuse for some really weird titles that don’t inspire confidence.
By the way, it makes no sense to search for the “The Day Before” page yourself. By the time I wrote this it had disappeared, confirming what we had already thought about it. Anyway, before February 15th, this page belonged to a game called Carrot the Cat. Then everything changed, but it didn’t stay that way. By February 12, the description contained the following text: “ Welcome to the new chapter of the Grand Theft Auto saga – GTA Brazil”. Well, we won’t list any further, you understand that we were dealing with a big scam. Ironic if you know the history of the game.
Deplorable development conditions
To stay with the theme of “The Day Before”: At the end we learned a little more about the background to the development. A former member (this is not officially confirmed) of the Fntastic studio has made a worrying statement, to say the least. He was allegedly exploited as a volunteer before being fired without warning. The cause ? He “It didn’t happen fast enough”and him “wasn’t professional”. It’s obvious that the more we delve into the subject, the more nightmarish it becomes.
Furthermore, our man is not the only one who has commented on the conditions at the construction site of “The Day Before”. Media companies GameStar and Game Two conducted research and found that executives tend to fire without good reason. We talk about “minor mistakes” that are worth getting fired, but there are worse things. Apparently, if some people’s work did not meet management’s expectations, they could be fined. It’s on the moon and we wish everyone we thank a lot of courage.
