If you like action movies from the 80s-90s, you’ve probably seen Die Hard (Die Hard or Die Hard) from 1988. The creation of this film is full of curiosities, especially related to the choice of the actor who would play John McClane. It ended up being Bruce Willis, who ended up positioning himself as one of the action heroes of the time.
The choice of the building where the entire film takes place is another very interesting curiosity. It is presented to us as a 35-story, 150-meter skyscraper called Nakatomi Plaza, although its real name is Fox Plaza. These are the offices of 20th Century Fox, the film’s distributor. Even so, the budget is $20,000,000. Nothing to do with the $143,358,544 it took in.
Back to the Fox Plaza building. You’ve probably seen it on more than one occasion and not even noticed. It was one of the buildings that was demolished in Fight Club from 1999 and also housed several stages for Speed
And what about video games? The building has been used as the headquarters of two fictitious companies in Midnight Club: Los Angeles and GTA V. The case of Rockstar Games is interesting because the building is called Weazel Plaza
