The Elden Ring DLC is highly anticipated on June 21st and is also entitled to a Collector’s Edition that is just as great as the base game. However, the same cannot be said for the way it is presented…
In order to, as they say, “build up the hype,” Bandai Namco released a release promoting the Collector’s Edition of the Elden Ring DLC. This is a not-so-subtle nod to the advertising for Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 counterpart in particular.
Ready to impale yourself in the Elden Ring DLC?
Fans of FromSoftware games are impatient with the idea of suffering… immersing themselves body and soul in Elden Ring: Shadow of the World Tree. This will be released on June 21st and, like the base game, is entitled to an excellent collector’s edition. Its centerpiece, of course, is the statuette of what we believe to be the DLC’s charismatic final boss: Messmer the Impaler. The American branch of publisher Bandai Namco announced yesterday on its official X.com account a promotion regarding its pre-order.
This repeats the advertising for the collector’s edition of Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 almost verbatim. So we can read: “ Treat yourself to 45.72 centimeters (or 18 inches) of Messmer the Impaler and more with the Collector’s Edition of Elden Ring: Shadow of the World Tree
In any case, please note that if you would like to treat yourself to this collector’s edition, a pre-order is already possible official page from Bandai Namco. The statuette is also excellently crafted and would perfectly complement the one of Malenia in the Collector’s Edition of the base game if you had the opportunity and means to purchase it back then.
