Next month, The Elder Scrolls 6 will celebrate its two year anniversary! So not the game itself, but the announcement. That took place at E3 2018, since then role players have been patiently waiting for the first information.
But the wait is far from over, because according to Bethesda's Vice President for PR and Marketing Pete Hines, it will take years. Not only until the game comes out, but also before the first details of the new Elder Scrolls game are released to the public. On Twitter, user Quinton Meyers asked for details, but Hines promptly jumped in and choked that hope.
It's after Starfield, which you pretty much know nothing about. So if you're coming at me for details now and not years from now, I'm failing to properly manage your expectations.

"It (The Elder Scrolls 6) appears after Starfield, which you don't know about yet. So if you ask me for details now and not in a few years, I haven't managed your expectations properly."
Bethesda's new space role-playing game Starfield was also announced at E3 2018. Since then, however, no really tangible information has come to light about this completely new brand. Most recently, Bethesda also canceled a digital appearance instead of the E3. So it is unlikely that we will learn anything about the two games this year.
