It was June 11, 2018 when we got our first look at The Elder Scrolls 6, the new installment of the Bethesda’s fantasy universe. Just a teaser of just over 30 seconds to make our teeth long and since then, absolutely nothing.
Five years have passed since that apparition and we have heard practically nothing about the development of the work. At this point, and with Starfield in the middle, we could already imagine that it would take us to see the game, but now we have a somewhat more specific date.
During the trial between the FTC and Microsoft, Phil Spencer has secured what there are “more than five years” until we have The Elder Scrolls 6 in our houses. This margin puts us at least in 2028 and, according to the person in charge, “right now it is difficult for us to specify it.” Let’s remember that this date is the estimated date for the landing of the new consoles that will replace PS5 and Xbox Series X/S.
Of course, Spencer has pointed out that “I think we have not been clear on which platforms it will be released, given how advanced the game is”, so it is not completely confirmed that it will only see the light of day on Xbox and PC. The one that will land exclusively on Microsoft systems, PC and on Xbox Game Pass will be the future Indiana Jones game.
