On March 31st, ZeniMax and Bethesda Softworks announced the good news that The Elder Scrolls Online will be eligible for a next-generation version. The latter should also be available on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X | on June 8, 2021 Land S. Unfortunately we have to wait a few more days.
Bad news so the next generation version of The Elder Scrolls Online has been delayed. But don’t worry, the title originally slated for June 8, 2021 on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X | S was scheduled to be released just a short week later. i.e. June 15, 2021. As announced, this next generation version will bring some welcome improvements, such as a graphics mode with the 4K / 60fps combination, a performance mode with 60fps as well as more detailed textures, better management of light effects and a better distance to the display. and reduced loading times. These would be up to 50% shorter.
Despite this new postponement, please note that The Elder Scrolls Online: Blackwood expansion will ship as planned on June 1st on PC, Mac and Google Stadia and on June 8th, 2021 on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. As a reminder, The Elder Scrolls Online is currently available on Xbox Game Pass.
