The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim is not only getting an extensive Anniversary Edition for its 10th birthday, but an upcoming board game version of the classic role-playing game has also been announced.

The Skyrim board game is called The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim – The Adventure Game and is currently being developed by Modiphius Entertainment. It should be a tabletop role-playing game for one to four players. The game is said to offer around twelve hours of playing time in the main story alone, garnished with a number of side paths, decisions and role-playing options.

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim – The Adventure Game can be played solo or cooperatively with up to four players. There are six different races available for your own character: Nord, Dunmer, Imperial, Altmer, Khajiit and Orismer. Your character can be equipped with weapons, armor, spells and other skills. Of course, you will romp around with it in regions that you know from Skyrim.

The game consists of two campaigns, each consisting of three chapters. Each chapter should have around 90 to 120 minutes of playing time. Your actions and decisions should influence the course of the story. You can find more information on the Gamefound page of the developers.
