Platinum Games announced many new details about the upcoming The fall of Babylon Closed beta. The first stage will only be carried out on Steam, the second stage will extend the test to PS4, and finally the third stage will be extended to PS5.
On Sunday, Platinum announced the date for the first phase of the Babylon’s Fall closed beta. This initial phase took place on different dates in Japan, North America and Europe.
Japan The first is the beta version, which will start from 2 am to 6 am on Thursday, July 29th. North AmericaThe test will be conducted the following week, Thursday, August 5th from 6 pm to 10 pm (Pacific Time) and from 9 pm to 1 am (Eastern Time, August 6).Finally, the European The closed beta test is scheduled for Thursday, August 12th from 6pm to 10pm in the UK, and from 7pm to 11pm (CEST).
Those who sign up for the closed beta will receive an invitation to conduct various tests based on the area specified in their Square Enix account.
The focus of this initial phase will be on basic aspects such as downloading and installing the client, registration and account authentication, and performing early server and network testing. This is part of the reason the content will be restricted, and Platinum says players should expect content to be repeated. However, the developers plan to gradually unlock more content during these stages.
In the first stage, the sharing of screenshots and videos is not allowed, but Platinum said that these restrictions will be relaxed in the future, but did not provide specific details. The second and third phases have yet to be dated.
After a period of radio silence, the fall of Babylon reappeared at E3 in June and confirmed in an appropriate manner that it was a live service game and showed a divided art style.
