Fujitsu FM Towns Marty
There are consoles that are little known to the general public, and this is all the more true when the machine does not cross the borders of their country, as with FM Towns Marty from the Fujitsu company.
Marketed only in Japan in 1991, the FM Towns Marty was not only the first console with CD-ROM support, but also the first 32-bit console.
The FM Towns Marty sold 98,000 (774) at launch and came with a two button controller and also had a port for a second controller. Mouse and keyboard were also provided.
It is therefore the 1stconcerning Console have a built-in CD player.
Some technical terms:

A floppy disk drive is even more original. The joystick is very classic with its directional cross and two buttons.
To put an end to the numbers:

And the games, you will tell me. We list quite a number of them and before you see some pictures you can check out the list of games from FM Towns Marty by clicking on HERE.
Titles that are certainly no stranger to you.
What time could I have spent with “Lemmings”, but I admit it was on the Commodore Amiga.
The size of the game boxes was much larger than that of the CD in question. The games could reach $ 140.
Big names as you can see.
Games for all tastes.
The Marty 2 comes outFebruary 20, 1993with, once again, an internet connection and a more powerful processor.
It’s a little more successful than the first version, but the Sony surge will overtake it.
A very rare console that it’s hard to deny.
