The new Alien project, helmed by director Fede Alvarez and commissioned by 20th Century Fox, announces its release date: The film will hit French cinemas on August 14, 2024.

The film, initially called Alien: Romulus, follows a group of young protagonists who come face to face with the saga’s terrifying creatures in “a far-off world”. The cast includes Cailee Spaeny, Isabela Merced, Archie Renaux, David Jonsson, Spike Fearn and Aileen Wu. This new installment will have no connection to the other films in the series.
