Following the concept photos, Indiana Jones 5 will be unveiled with a first-ever image of Harrison Ford in his iconic adventurer costume, hat on head and whip on his belt.
If the Disney D23 conference was happy to provide us with concept images and clothing that the Indiana Jones 5 characters will wear, a magazine reveals Harrison Ford’s look in the film. Do we take the same and start over?

Empire Film Magazine treated itself to a beautiful cover for its January 2023 issue, a worldwide exclusive featuring the very first look at Harrison Ford in his Indiana Jones 5 costume. And as we can see, we’re not changing the winning team. The weather had no effect on Dr. Jones.
With Empire also winning interviews, maybe we should learn more about the feature film in the coming weeks. James Mangold (Logan, Le Man 66, Copland…) will succeed him Steven Spielberg as director. For a good surprise? Given the filmography of the gentleman, it is possible.
According to Mads Mikkelsen, who will play a villain in Indiana Jones 5, this part will be closer to the first films:
Raiders of the Lost Ark was one of my favorite films and it exuded the golden age of 1940’s soap operas, and that’s exactly what we find in the fifth film. We’re going back to the first and second films very openly to have the state of mind of the origins, the original Indy, something dense and epic. It really does look like a Spielberg film, although James is directing it because he’s doing it with the same vision. I’d never met Harrison Ford before, so it was my first time, and he’s an incredibly strong person. Not only as an actor, but also physically. I remember our first day of shooting, it was at night and we finished at 5am. He immediately got on his mountain bike and rode 50 kilometers. Harrison is a monster, a very nice monster.
