A hyper-ambitious game that aims to offer us extreme freedom. The usual victory conditions are swept away and developed further here. Diplomacy, war, trade… all the main axes of 4X are described here with importance and detail. The opportunities for evolution, research and development will be just as numerous. Tonight, Ara History Untold took advantage of the Xbox Direct to reveal himself more, in particular giving us an overview of his different ages and the developments associated with them. Bronze Age, Gold Age, Industrial Age… it will even be possible to go beyond our era, into the future where technologies and robotics dominate. Ara will focus on technology research, crafting, and resource gathering.
There’s a lot of micromanagement to be expected, and it starts with choosing a civilization and its leader. Each leader has their own personality, but also their own stats that affect how you play. An orientation more than an obligation, because remember, Ara offers us almost total freedom of action. Ara History Untold doesn’t have a definitive release date yet, but it has been confirmed that it will be coming to Xbox and PC next fall. Please note that the release of the game will only be the beginning as the developers have many ideas for the future.
