Gran Turismo 7 Patch 1.48 is coming to PS4 and PS5 this week with new free cars as usual. But instead of waiting for the announcement, players have been doing some research.
Gran Turismo 7 is still relevant more than two years after its release on PS5 and PS4. And luckily, because it’s usually a game that can evolve over time. The latest update 1.46 a includes the essential Chevrolet Chevelle SS 454 Sport Coupe ’70, the AFEELA Prototype 2024 as well as the ŠKODA Vision GT. As often happens, there was also a new menu no. 30 “Ferrari 12 Cylinders”, events and even a new landscape for Scapes, the car simulation’s ultra-realistic photo mode. Want to make your garage bigger than ever? Here are the next additions.
Free cars in version 1.48 of Gran Turismo 7
Polyphony Digital will detail the upcoming Gran Turismo 7 patch 1.48 very soon. If things go like last week, the official announcement will be made in just a few hours. Before that, Kazunori Yamauchi, the creator of the GT license, continued the tradition of the video with cars in the dark and just enough light to try to guess the models. “The update is coming this week” the developer indicates on his personal account X. What will be the new free GT7 cars? GT Planet and Internet users are pretty sure they have discovered everything.
After careful examination, it seems that Gran Turismo 7 players will receive five Japanese vehicles, including two Hondas. That’s the first surprise, but there are even better ones. The 2000 Castrol Mugen NSX would make its comeback with the 1993 Honda Civic SiR-II. As for the third Japanese engine, it would apparently be a Nissan Skyline R31 GTS-R, another classic after the Honda Castrol Mugen NSX. Finally, Swedish manufacturer Volvo would also be in the spotlight of Gran Turismo 7 thanks to two cars. The 2013 Volvo V40 T5 as well as the Volvo 240 SE Wagon station wagon. Perfect for a nice nostalgic photo in Scapes mode, but when it comes to driving, it’s not the dreamiest thing on the list.
