Star Wars Jedi Survivor is great for PS5 and Xbox series. The PC version drives insane players attacking EA on Steam.
Star Wars Jedi: Survivor just came out in this one April 28th. After a great Star Wars Jedi: Fallen OrderHer fans eagerly awaited the continuation of the adventures of Cal Kestis. On consoles, the title responds and even surpasses its predecessor. Thanks to his entertaining fights, his sublime artistic direction and his generosity, The action role-playing game convinced us. Logically, PlayStation and Xbox players should also fall under the spell of the Respawn title. On the PC, on the other hand, it’s a cold shower. Optimization is abysmal, even with the high-end devices we tested it on (RTX 3080 Ti and i9 10900K processor). Only extremely powerful (and therefore particularly expensive) configurations can enjoy the game in the best conditions. PC gamers have just realized this for themselves. They express their dissatisfaction on Steam.
Star Wars Jedi Survivor is being destroyed by players on Steam
Negative ratings fly against it on Steam Star Wars Jedi: Survivor. And not without good reason, as has been the case for a few days with the Horizon Forbidden West DLC called Burning Shores. The catastrophic optimization of the game, even on powerful configurations, clearly disappoints the public.
30-45 fps at 1440p on a nice 21:9 screen with a 3080 config at 3000 dollars, that’s not possible. Really wait for patches if you want to enjoy it in good conditions!”
Even with a resolution of 1080p, frame rate drops regularly. In any case, making concessions really annoys the players. Especially considering the price spent to play the game upon release. And even when they do, they complain about it Star Wars Jedi: Survivor
Soon an update of the game on PC?
Most PC version owners will most likely put the game aside for now. We envision Respawn will soon provide a patch (or patches) that will finally allow owners to do so Star Wars Jedi: Survivor to play normally. So far, neither the Finnish studio nor the publisher Electronic Arts have commented on this topic. As it stands, it’s difficult to advise gamers to jump into this PC version. If you don’t own a PS5 or Xbox Series, it might be best to be patient.
