This is the news that is currently circulating on the internet. Xbox Game Pass is rumored to be hosting three major games soon. Yes but no. We explain it to you.
At Microsoft, we never stop surprising. The publisher is obviously preparing very big announcements for Gamescom 2022 and that would happen on the Xbox Game Pass side. Two really big games are coming soon, including one of this year’s GOTYs. At least that’s what the players think, but it wouldn’t be entirely true.
Elden Ring and GTA 5 in Xbox Game Pass?
In recent years, Xbox Game Pass has established itself as one of the best good video game plans. For $9.99 a month, PC and Xbox gamers can access a catalog of games that keeps growing with real nuggets. The American publisher hit hard during Summer Game Fest by announcing the arrival of Persona 5 Royal to its service and doesn’t intend to stop there.
Several users have actually noticed that the Xbox Store pages for GTA 5, Elden Ring, Soul Hackers 2 and Cyberpunk 2077 now have the Xbox Game Pass logo. The web was quickly smitten and thought these titles would be added to the catalog soon. It’s a possibility, of course, but it seems the answer lies elsewhere. The sites in question also mention Xbox Cloud Gaming compatibility, and that’s where all the subtlety lies.
Microsoft had announced that later this year Game Pass Ultimate members will be able to play select non-GP games they own directly in the cloud. It therefore seems that Elden Ring and GTA 5 are among the games chosen for this program. Of course, a future arrival on Xbox Game Pass cannot be ruled out, but in the short term it more likely means that these big titles can be played from any device.
