Beginning this Friday, you will be streaming Horizon Forbidden West Scores that accompany your machine hunts in and out of the game.
Guerrilla has partnered with Sony Music to bring the soundtrack to all streaming platforms, so you can choose.
The soundtrack will be released in three volumes. Volume 1, due out this Friday, includes features such as Aloy’s Theme, a new rendition of her signature Horizon Forbidden West theme featuring Julie Elven, and a title sequence in the game’s opening title sequence by Ariana Gillis’s track In the Flood.
In the Flood was originally written by Lovisa Bergdahl of Guerrilla, who co-produced the song with Oleksa Lozowchuk.
The rest of the soundtrack will be released shortly after, with more digital releases on March 11 and March 25.
Guerrilla Music Director Lucas van Tol recently sat down with the soundtrack’s composer to discuss the creative process. In the video, Joris de Man, Niels van der Leest, Oleksa Lozowchuk, and composition duo The Flight discuss how they composed the music for the game and review the Horizon Zero Dawn soundtrack.
