Baldur’s Gate 3 will receive its first major update of the year very soon. A patch that promises to be huge once again and will bring with it some new features.
Baldur’s Gate 3 was one of the phenomena of 2023. The aura of Larian Studios was so great that it was already becoming a success among fans of the genre. The Belgian studio was probably far from expecting that a simple scene with a bear (among other things) would generate enough enthusiasm to attract the favor of the general public. The result: Not only did the game bring CRPGs to a new audience, but it also overtook everything that came its way, beating games like Hogwarts Legacy, Starfield or even Alan Wake 2. A critical and commercial success, and the Belgians we don’t plan on stopping. After a well-deserved break, Larian will release the sixth major update for Baldur’s Gate 3.

Almost seven months after release, Baldur’s Gate 3 continues to improve. This in itself is not surprising if we know Larian Studios’ history in terms of monitoring their games. A Definitive Edition could well be on the horizon in a few months, but in the meantime the teams are working hard to improve the experience and add new features that their community wants, as passionately as they are. At the beginning of the year there were several hotfixes that fixed crashes, annoying bugs and other problems of all kinds, but for new features you have to wait for the big patches. In fact, the Belgian studio confirmed on its social networks that a major patch for Baldur’s Gate 3 will be deployed next week.
What to expect from this Patch 6? Something massive, the notes already promise to be colossal according to the studio. “It is extensive, so we will publish all patch notes on the official website,” they clarified. Larian has not only solved many still-hidden issues, but also confirmed some new features and changes. And since love is in the air in Faerûn, the studio has improved the kisses and for this purpose added new animations, of which we can discover a small preview with the GIF accompanying this announcement of Baldur’s Gate 3. With Patch 6 of Baldur’s Gate 3, new activities are also planned for your comrades who are quietly waiting for you to stop by the camp and talk to them. Strenuous will not be put aside as new legendary actions are also expected for Honor Mode. Enough to spice up their games next week.
