The April 2023 Disney+ Movies & Series Schedule is here! A month of iconic franchises and characters. Here are all the news not to be missed.

Temperatures are far from ideal across France, so take the opportunity to stay under a plaid and watch a movie, series or documentary. And you have the option with the additions of Netflix, Prime Video or Disney + announcing these new releases in April 2023. If it’s a very shy month compared to others, we note everything, even the presence of established franchises. The new Disney+ releases of April 2023

A program published exclusively on the SVOD platform and therefore not distributed in cinemas. A film directed by a rather unexpected filmmaker: David Lowery. In recent years he has produced A ghost story etc The Green Knight.

Director James Cameron is also at the center of these novelties with a wildlife documentary and the TV series adaptation of one of his hits.

A big family blockbuster with Spider-Man far homean immersion in the magical world of Peter Pan for adults who refuse to grow up, a terrifying thriller produced by director Guillermo Del Toro – one of Hideo Kojima’s best friends – an original animated series or even two projects that are closely or distantly associated with the filmmaker with James Cameron.

Peter Pan & Wendy (April 28)

Nostalgic for the fabulous Hook by Steven Spielberg, here is an unreleased film that may interest you. At least if you’re at least attracted to Peter Pan and the characters that revolve around it. Peter Pan & Wendy is an adaptation of the novel of the same name and focuses on the encounter between the boy who refuses to grow up and his fairy godmother, Tinker Bell. Happy in their imaginary land, they are confronted with Captain Hook. A classic story known to everyone, but in a more recent version.

Hungry (April 21)

Without being a complete success hungry can be observed for its few moments and history. We follow a teacher played by Keri Russell (Crazy Bear, The American…), investigates one of his students who appears to be malnourished as the mining town they live in is ravaged by murder. Massacres that do not appear to be committed by ordinary people or animals.

Produced by Guillermo Del Toro (Pacific Rim, nightmare alley…and an insight from Scott Cooper, to whom we have to thank The Flames of Rage etc The light blue eye with Christian Bale, or even enemies.

True Lies: For Better or Worse (April 19)

Finally a 4K HDR restoration and all the footage True Lies by James Cameron? No, even if it’s pushed aside a little, it should happen in the next few months or at least in 2024. But anyway, we have a TV series inspired by the action comedy The Father of Avatar 2, which was itself a remake of the French feature film The sum.

Harry Tasker’s character is still an Omega Sector spy, but his wife Helen is now a teacher instead of a lawyer.

Secrets of the Elephants (April 22)

Nature lovers, especially the seabed, James Cameron signs a documentary “ The Secrets of the Elephants for Disney+. A trip around the world to meet these giants. As usual, the Hollywood technician combines his passion with advances in technology to immerse us with realism in this new documentary that, for once, is set on solid ground and not in the abyss.
