If you’re in the mood for an exciting story paired with science fiction, you should treat yourself to the demo of The Invincible this weekend.
The Invincible comes from Statward Industries and is published by 11 bit Studios. The game is scheduled to be released in 2023 for PC and consoles and is inspired by the sci-fi novel of the same name by legendary author Stanislav Lem, and the name should already have sci-fi fans hooked.
The Invinvible follows the astute astrobiologist Yasra, who wakes up on a distant planet and finds herself in the middle of a life-threatening rescue mission. On Regis III – an uninhabited, uncharted planet – she is tasked with the daunting task of finding the missing team on an interstellar scientific expedition that came to an abrupt end far from home. As Yasra delves deeper into the mysteries surrounding the disappearance of their peers and encounters incomprehensible phenomena, it quickly becomes clear that terrible secrets lie hidden in the dusty expanses of Regis III.
You can currently get insights into the narrative first-person adventure through a Demo version on Steam received, which is available until May 11th as part of LudoNarraCon 2023 – just right for the coming weekend.
The fact that 11 bit Studios has secured the publishing rights for The Invincible should already give an indication of the nature of the game. 11 bit Studios created the multi-award-winning war drama This War of Mine, demonstrating a penchant for narrative titles with choices and consequences. It shouldn’t be any different with The Invincible.
