The Apple iPhone 14 Pro has been available for a few weeks and obviously an excellent student in terms of overall autonomy.
Battery life is one of the most important things for most people when buying a new phone. Because there is nothing more unpleasant with a smartphone than not being able to last a whole day with one battery charge. Obviously the Apple iPhone 14 Pro is very good at this little game.
Apple impresses with its iPhone 14 Pro
Indeed, the YouTube channel PhoneArena tested the battery life of today’s hottest models to determine which smartphone lasted the longest. In particular, the Google Pixel 7 Pro, the Pixel 7, the Pixel 6 Pro and the Samsung S22 Ultra. The first classic test consists of simulating web browsing until the phone stops completely. With 16 hours and 18 minutes, the Apple iPhone 14 Pro wins the test by a large margin. For comparison: The Pixel 7 Pro comes to 14 hours and 18 minutes and the Samsung S22 Ultra to 13 hours and 17 minutes.
The second test concerns videos with YouTube usage and 100% brightness. The iPhone Pro performs well again, but falls to third place behind the Google 7 Pro at 9 hours and 14 minutes versus 9 hours and 39 minutes. We’re still on top of the basket. Especially since the iPhone Pro Max is way ahead with 11 hours of battery life. Apple therefore has the best autonomy with these last two smartphones. Obviously, the test against Chinese phones remains, which can sometimes be very surprising in this endurance category.
This is all the more impressive given that the iPhone Pro’s battery is “only” 3200 mAh versus 5000 mAh on the Galaxy S22 Ultra, for example.
