Throughout the past year, numerous video game events, presentations, galas, etc., had to be produced in virtual format due to the coronavirus. That is what will happen with the D.I.C.E. Awards 2021, whose list of nominees it was just revealed a few moments ago.
The Interactive Academy of Arts and Sciences has confirmed which have been the 57 video games published throughout 2020 who will choose to win a prize in the different established categories. Of course, unlike previous editions, this time the ceremony will take place much later than normal, since the winners will not be announced until April 8
Animal Crossing: New Horizons, Final Fantasy VII Remake, Ghost of Tsushima, Hades and The Last of Us: Parte II are the titles chosen to be proclaimed the best game of the year. Naughty Dog’s masterpiece is featured with a total of 11 nominations and with a long list of awards behind her that have managed to turn her into the game that has received the most awards in history.
Ghost of Tsushima is also not far behind with ten nominationswhile Hades stays with a total of eight. And others who will also have a great presence will be Half-Life: Alyx, Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales and Ori and the Will of the Wisps
