In recent days, many images, videos and information around The Last of Us Part II have been published on the net. Faced with the situation, Naughty Dog reacted on his Twitter account.
Gameplay, cutscenes, twists in the scenario are all information that the studio would surely have preferred not to see circulating. In a short press release published on the social network, the studio says:
We know how incredibly difficult these last few days have been for you. We feel the same. It is disappointing to see the exit and to see images of the development being shared. Do your best to avoid spoilers and we ask that you do not spoil others. The Last of Us Part II will soon be in your hands. No matter what you see or read, the final experience will be worth it.
In the midst of all this, Sony announced this afternoon that the title now has a whole new release date, set for June 19, 2020. At the same time, the other upcoming PS4 exclusive, Ghost of Tsushima, will arrive on its side on July 17.
