Glitches aren’t usually something to be happy about in a game. In the case of The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, on the other hand, a bug turned out to be quite useful. But Nintendo has no mercy and eradicates it with the patch to version 1.1.2.
Finding bugs in Nintendo games usually requires you to do a more thorough search than Link to the Krogs. The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom also scored points when it was released on May 12, 2023 with a very good technical condition. The developers fixed minor errors in the main quest a few days ago, now the update to version 1.1.2 follows.

As is typical for Nintendo, the patch notes are relatively manageable. According to them, the patch fixes another bug in an optional main quest, and you can also look forward to minor bug fixes:
- Audio bug fixes
- Fixed an issue where audio played at extremely high volume under certain conditions.
- More fixes
- Fixed an issue in the main quest “Camera Work in the Depths” where players could not advance past a certain point. Downloading the update will now allow players to go past this point.
- Several issues have been fixed to improve the gaming experience.
As the fans noticed, however, version 1.1.2 brings other changes with it. And not everyone likes them, because various glitches are also removed, through which you could duplicate items. For example, you could use it to duplicate fairies to generate heaps of life. Diamonds and ores could also be doubled in this way, which of course filled your wallet very quickly.
So if you want to continue walking the dishonest path through Hyrule, then you’d better not update to version 1.1.2. However, you will then miss technical revisions and possible future content.
