The comeback of The Lords of the Fallen is scheduled to take place this year; according to a reliable leaker, the specific date may already be set.
You should be able to return to the dark fantasy world of The Lords of the Fallen this autumn – at least if a reliable leaker is available. What is meant in this case @ALumia_Italia
The upgraded new edition of the role-playing classic based on Unreal Engine 5 should therefore be available for PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S from October 13, 2023. However, there is no official confirmation of this fact at the moment.
The creative director of the CI Games development studio recently spoke in an interview with some details about the reboot. The focus of the game is that you switch back and forth between the world of the living called Axiom and the world of the undead called Umbral. Thanks to the new engine, this should now be seamlessly possible. The progress of the game, however, should be half-linear and half-open; so some areas may become inaccessible after earning certain items or watching story sequences.
In addition to a two-player co-op mode, there will also be role-playing PvP features, as well as a revenge system for players killed in the world. The Lords of the Fallen is also said to have various possible endings and deep relationships with NPCs.
The question remains: is the leaker right about the release date? Of course, we will keep you posted as to whether the reboot of The Lords of the Fallen will actually be released on October 13, 2023.
