Perhaps one of the most important parts of the fight lost arkin addition to staying alive and doing good damage, of course fight back! This ability is one that most classes can acquire in one way or another, and is crucial when dealing with Guardian Raids and other PvE content. But how does the counterattack work?

Below is a brief overview of how counterattack works. Certain enemies, usually Boss monsters and higher, occasionally emit blue light when making certain attacks. During this brief window, you can interrupt the attack with a specific attack, opening the enemy up to incoming damage.
To find out which attacks do this, check your skills and look out for the yellow “Counterattack” tab. As a general rule, you should always have a counter skill on the action bar in PvE content.
